The Presidency on Monday revealed who President Muhammadu Buhari will pick as his running mate in the fast-approaching 2019 general elections.
Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in an interview with State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He stated that Buhari will still retain Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, as his running mate.
Shehu assured that victory was certain for the ruling party judging from victories recorded by the party in legislative elections held in three states over the weekend.
The 2019 polls have been slated for 16 February 2019.
Eligible citizens who are up to the voting age of 18 have been urged to get their Permanent Voters Cards in order to enable them to exercise one of their fundamental human rights.
Registration for the voter's card ends on Friday, August 17, 2018, and weekends have now been added to make it easier for people.
